A dentist who had been kidnapped on August 19 in Mexicali, was rescued by agents of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), his family had reported his disappearance, and the theft of two vehicles he owned to the FGE.
State Attorney Ricardo Carpio reported that hey arrested an undisclosed number of alleged kidnappers but stated that they may belong to a criminal cell from another State operating here.
After receiving the complaint for the disappearance of the dentist, the State Investigation Agency began work to find your location, which led to working with the family who at all times collaborated in the investigation, which allowed carrying out duly planned investigation strategies
Investigations led to locating an address on Acatic street, in Los Portales subdivision of Mexicali outskirts, that is where the anti-kidnapping agents managed to arrest those allegedly responsible for the kidnapping, as well as rescue the victim, who was in good health, receiving necessary psychological care and medical services.
“Likewise, the Attorney General reported that the investigations to determine the responsibility of the insured persons are still underway, as well as in the integration of the corresponding investigation folder, from which up to now he is quite sure that those responsible for this crime are operators of a criminal group that lives outside the state of Baja California”, informed an FGE press release.
