An alleged kidnapper, murderer and “person of interest” for local Law enforcement agencies, also identified as a violence generation factor in Mexicali, who allegedly belongs to a criminal group, was arrested by elements of the State Attorney General’s Office in Mexicali, in compliance with an arrest warrant against the man identified as GABRIEL ERASMO “N”.
By monitoring information collected in the cabinet and field by members of the State Investigation Agency (AEI), they implemented an operation through the Nueva Hindú neighborhood, coffee section, where GABRIEL ERASMO “N” a.k.a. “El Gabo”, was secured, when State Attorney Agents executed an arrest warrant for violent homicide and aggravated kidnapping.
According to the information provided by the State Attorney (FGE), the crime occurred in March 2022, when the accused, in complicity with two other men, kidnapped a person and, in order to achieve his objective, they hit him in the face, causing severe injuries to his face and head.
The State Attorney agents attached to the Specialized Prosecutor for Crimes against Life, collected various evidence, data, obtained, and arrest warrant from the Control Judge with the name of the alleged aggressor on it. The State Attorney General’s Office strengthens the work of prosecuting crime through investigative methods to clarify the facts, seeking that those responsible be brought to justice, and not leave unpunished crimes that lacerate the integrity of Baja Californians.
