Eastern Airlines will add the first nonstop flights between New York and Los Cabos, Mexico, beginning Aug. 29, The Baja Post had apready annpounced that this flight would be starting soon and now that the country has started to reactivate tourism, Los Cabos is expected to revover its status as one of the most important destinations in the world.
To celebrate the new direct flight Eastern Airlines announces ticket prices from 199 dollars roundtrip, this special deal will last until November 18, with taxes and fees included in the fee. All bags, including golf bags and other sports equipment, will fly free, that is there will be no chatge for those which normaly pay an extra fee, said Steve Harfst, Eastern’s president and CEO,
The airline will fly between New York JFK and Los Cabos on Saturdays and Wednesdays, said Rodrigo Esponda, managing director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board, said after years of trying to add nonstop service to the Big Apple, “we now have a fantastic opportunity to attract travelers in the New York metropolitan area.”
