The FBI issued a WANTED poster, against Jesús Alexandro Sánchez Félix, A.K.A. El Ruso, for several crimes, mainly related to drug trafficking and smuggling and money laundering, but also to hostage taking or (as it is called in Mexico) causing people to disappear, a series of “vanishings” that have become a serious problem in Mexicali
Kevin Moreno was a young man who worked in Shots, a night Club which is part of a bar, disco and restaurant complex in Mexicali, that became a Bermuda Triangle of sorts, when he and several other youngsters “vanished” and were never seen or heard of again, Kevin´s parents accused a crew led by «el Ruso» Sanchez Feix, identified as Los Rusos.
Jesus Alexandro Sanchez Felix is wanted for his alleged involvement in narcotics trafficking, hostage taking, and money laundering as part of the Sinaloa Drug Trafficking Organization.
Mr. Moreno stated that State Government Secretary, Alfredo Alvarez, hasn´t replied to several requests by his wife and him, as well as other parents and “Search Collectives”, community organizations who have undertaken the task in view of authorities lack of action, even when most people know who El Ruso is and what he does.
“The owners of Shots and other clubs here, were aware of what was going on here, there are eleven investigations, opened by the State Attorney´s Office, and several others that are not being investigated, for some reason, but something BAD was happening inside these clubs, they act freely and it is the crew known as Los Rusos (due too the nickname of their leader «El Ruso» Sanchez Felix).
On October 15, 2015, Jesus Alexandro Sanchez Felix was indicted in the United States District Court, Central District of California, Los Angeles, California, and an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest based on the following charges: Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Conspiracy; Violent Crime in Aid of Racketeering.
He is also related to other crimes such as: Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Substances; Conspiracy to Import Controlled Substances: Hostage Taking Conspiracy and Hostage Taking; Conspiracy to Launder Money; Carry and Use of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence or Drug Trafficking Crime; and Criminal Forfeiture.
