Mexicali. The feminist collective from the group «Estamos listas con Claudia» announced that Claudia Sheinbaum, candidate for the presidency of Mexico for the political party Morena in alliance with the PT and the Green Party, will come to Mexicali on April 11.
Mexico´s presidential candidate from MORENA political party will also attend the municipalities of Ensenada and Tecate followed by her visit to the capital of Baja California.
The national leader of the collective, Gracia Alzaga, stated that despite there being opposition to Sheinbaum, they believe in her proposals and have joined her campaign as a group.
«There are very diverse feminist groups, there are those who simply do not want any government, there are those who collaborate, we are not hegemonic, we are very diverse, of course, we may not agree, and that is why we decided to organize ourselves,» explained Gracia Alzaga.
On the other hand, they declared that despite the efforts of Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, there is still much work to be done in terms of gender in Baja California.
