After the arrest of a man who was in possession of almost 200 kilos of methamphetamine, on September 26 in Tijuana, the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) and the Secretary of National Defense (SEDENA), executed a search warrant which had been requested as a result of the aforementioned drug seizure.
They searched a house which they deemed to be related to the case, a task carried out by the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) altogether with the FESC, inside a house they found more than 700 kilograms of the same drug, so the total gives almost a metric ton (about 2 thousand pounds) of Crystal Methamphetamine.
It all started on September 26, when state agents responded to a citizen anonymous report to the 089 line, telling that there was a man was handling drum shaped containers, with a suspicious attitude outside a house on Colima Street in the Magisterial section pf Tijuana.
FESC uniformed officers showed up and located Rafael «N» in possession of 197.6 kilograms of methamphetamine divided into 377 packages, so they arrested him and this events led to the request for a search warrant, which was granted by a Judge and executed by State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies.
Inside the garage of the searched house, they found more packages which seemed to contain the same drug, this was done on September 29, and they found 777.4 kilograms of methamphetamine divided into one thousand 570 packages, a white Chevrolet truck parked inside the home was secured, thus confiscating approximately 975 kilograms.
Coordinated work strategies, between the three levels of government (Municipal, State and Federal) is constantly reinforced to vanish any cause of violence in Baja California, and the authorities commitment with citizens is to maintain social harmony in the State, offering the 911 line for emergencies and the 089 line for anonymous complaints.
