In order to exchange points of view and distanc learning strategies during the COVID-19 Pandemic, students from the CETYS University Campus Mexicali High School in Mexico and the Secondary Education Center at the Liceo Libertad in Uruguay, participated in a workshop on didactic reflection.
During the event called Exchange of Distance Learning Strategies Between High School Students, carried out through the Zoom platform. Under the supervision of teachers from both institutions, the high school graduates interacted remotely, chatting about their experiences in the midst of the health contingency, differences and similarities in their environments, as well as the proposed challenges.
The future of growth in countries lies in young people, so they will have to be motivated and encouraged to be critical and aware of their environment, said Prof. Guillermo Cerdeña, a member of the San José Scientific Culture Team of the Directorate of Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay.
The development of this workshop allowed the young people to discover their strengths and areas of opportunity, regarding their student performance. During the day, the participants designed proposals for didactic strategies to provide feedback on the work of their teachers, among which those dealing with self-knowledge, self-control, self-motivation, empathy, information technology and games stood out.
