Los Cabos is calling and agents can find out more about this beautiful sun destination with ‘Los Cabos is Calling’ webinar, hosted by Travelweek and Los Cabos Tourism Board. It will take place on thusrday October 8 at 11 AM (PST), will explore this Mexican tourist destination, which has become one of the top vacation posts worldwide, for its natural wonders, chic and charming diversions and beautiful resorts. Hotale occupancy had fallen to nearly zero in May, due to the COVID19 crisis, the last figure recorded by FITURCA (Los Cabos Touristic Fund) is 21% in July, but it´s estimated to have reached 30% by August and it is expected to reach 60% as of October.
Even thoough some JFLK direct flights to Los Cabos was delayed from August to October/November, some others are starting to arrive and Los Cabos will probably receive Canadian toursits, the so called «Snowbirds», for the winter season. “In the past few years, we have seen a steady increase in the number of Canadians visiting our destination. We want to continue this trend as much as possible. Los Cabos welcomes you with open arms,” said Rodrigo Esponda, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
Los Cabos reopened to tourism on June 15. The destination has consolidated its health and safety efforts under its new initiative: A Safer Way to Get Away #LosCabosWithCare. There are many protocols to follow, such as strict and consistent health and safety measures implemented across Los Cabos from the airport to hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, and other service providers, “making Los Cabos one of the safest destinations in the world.”
