Bark TV, the first multiplatform network with 24-hour-a-day programming dedicated exclusively to dog lovers, is now available in more than 80 broadcast markets across the country. After a soft launch last year, Bark TV has expanded its library and now broadcasts nationwide as an over-the-air (OTA) diginet channel and on free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platforms.

A mix of original programming and licensed television series, Bark TV is the destination on the dial for brand-safe, feel-good content that will make viewers want to sit and stay. An extensive collection of fun, entertaining and educational programming now includes footage from popular creators such as Dr. Lindsay Butzer and Grooming By Rudy, and well-known dog influencers like Felix the Wanderlust Samoyed and Crusoe the Dachshund.

Loyal viewers also have the opportunity to see their own pups featured on Bark TV by visiting barktvdogs.com and filling out a brief form. The photos uploaded will be featured on the channel and broadcast to millions across the country. What better way for a future star to get its paw in the door before being unleashed on the world?

«Americans not only love their dogs — nearly 60 million U.S. households have one — they love dog content too,» said Brendan Canning, co-founder and chief commercial officer of Triple B Media, which operates Bark TV. «Through a series of partnerships with broadcasters across the country, Bark TV has taken the unprecedented step of providing positive, all-dogs, all-the-time programming across a wide range of platforms.»

The recent proliferation of OTA multicast channels and FAST platforms, combined with an existing gap in the TV market for dedicated dog-friendly programming, made the creation and distribution of Bark TV a logical next step for Triple B Media, which operates a portfolio of 24/7 television channels. It’s estimated that 155 million U.S. dog enthusiasts spend more than $100 billion annually on their pups. Thankfully for them, Bark TV is free. And housebroken.
