The bodies of two men were found in in Mexicali´s Pro Hogar section, they were buried in the yard of a house on Vasco de Quiroga street in the aforementioned section, according to the Coroner´s Office they suffered very violent deaths and they had been buried for about 15 or 20 days.
Both bodies were decomposed at such a degree that it was really difficult for the Coroner to establish or draw more conclusions regarding details of both men´s deaths, they were identified but no relative or next of kin have showed up to claim their remains.
The bodies showed violence signs, one of them shows a cranioencephalic trauma, meaning he could have died from a blow to the head, while the other shows signs of stab wounds to the head and signs of strangulation, stated César Raúl González Vaca, head of the Forensic Medical Service.
The first individual was identified as José Luis, 59 years old, who died due to severe blows and stab wounds, with traces of having been strangled.
The second body found belongs to Steve Clyde, 76 years old, who had blunt force trauma on several parts of his body, which demonstrates that both died violently.
González Vaca mentioned that due to the time of death of these two individuals, the bodies were already in advanced decomposition, making it difficult to provide more specific details about this case, which is undoubtedly a very violent double homicide.
