A man with an arrest warrant issued against him in the United States as of last March, accused of human trafficking, was arrested by Baja California Attorney General in Mexicali, by special agents of the Coordination of International Liaison of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC).
The man, identified as Alberto “N”, 36 years old, was located and arrested in the so-called Orizaba Section in Mexicali United States was located and detained on the Monday May 13th afternoon in of Mexicali by agents from the FESC International Liaison office.
Exchanging information with USA authorities the agents managed to locate that Alberto “N” had crossed the border into Mexico, after the arrest warrant was issued against him last March, and he hid in Mexicali.
The arrest took place in the Orizaba Section, where Alberto “N,” 36 years old, hailing from El Centro, California, was “living a normal life” as if nothing had happened but, based on intelligence work, FESC officers arrested him.
The arrest of the alleged fugitive “coyote” took place on the corner of Callejon Oaxaca and Manzanillo Street. It should be noted that the man did not resist when cornered by state authorities.
According to information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service, Alberto “N,”, 36-year-old man accused of human trafficking, was hiding in Mexicali and from there things evolved and he finally was detained.
The arrest warrant against Alberto “N” had been issued by the United States District Court on March 29, 2024.
The detainee was handed over to the National Institute of Migration (INM), the body responsible for legally processing his extradition to the country requesting him, where he will face the charges for which the arrest warrant was issued in our state.
