San Luis Film Festival (SLFF) announces a live forum with filmmaker Laurie Coyle August 6, 18:30 PST

The Film Maker Directed “Adios Amor, the Search for Maria Moreno” San Luis, Arizona (July 28, 2021).- In order to give an actual view of Documentary genre and activism topics through film making, San Luis Film Festival will broadcast live a chat with USA Film Maker Laurie Coyle, Director of “Adios Amor, The Search for Maria Moreno,” on Friday, August 6, 2021.

Professor Antonio Carrillo, President and Founder of SLFF that will be held November 16-20, reminds Coyle was a guest in 2018, when the film based on the story of the first female field worker who started fighting for field workers rights before Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta was screened during the event.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with Laurie Coyle and learn how she starts a film making project and how to begin a creative process of a movie,” said Carrillo. The live forum will be broadcast at the San Luis Film Festival Facebook page at 6:30 pm, Arizona and California time, and it will be conducted by Mr. Carrillo and Mexican Journalist and San Luis Film Festival volunteer Catalina Navarro, in both Spanish and English, for the public convenience.

Back in June, San Luis Film Festival started a series of live forums with special guest including Actors, Film Makers and Directors, to celebrate its 10th anniversary in advance, and pave the path to announce its 2021 screen program soon.
