For the State University of Baja California (UABC) it is essential to maintain and strengthen an effective, transparent and agile management that supports the fulfillment of its substantive functions of teaching, research, as well as extension and linkage. In this framework, during the present rectory management headed by Dr. Daniel Octavio Valdez Delgadillo, various actions have been implemented so that the strategic processes of the university continue with the ISO 9001: 2015 certification, endorsing the institution’s commitment to offer services of quality to the university community.
Among the processes recently certified by the companies Det Norske Veritas and the American Trust Register are: the administration of the financial resources of the UABC Foundation; the administration, management, surveillance and rendering of accounts of the budget exercise of Baja State University; the granting of scholarships for higher level students; the processing and delivery of titles and certificates; the registration, application and delivery of EGEL results; the administration of the university’s human resources and the administrative processes related to purchasing, maintenance and infrastructure.
These actions contribute to the implementation of processes and procedures in congruence with the organizational structure of the university, as well as to the fulfillment of its substantive functions as established in the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) 2019-2023, which guides the activity university students and supports the tasks associated with the monitoring, evaluation and accountability processes.
