Personnel from the Mexican Army, the National Guard, and the Attorney General’s Office dismantled a methamphetamine laboratory near Los Mochis, Sinaloa, according to a post on the «X» account of the Secretary of Citizen Security, Omar García Harfuch.
It was a joint operation in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, where one person was arrested at the laboratory and 24,400 liters of liquid methamphetamine were seized
The operation, involving security forces from all three levels of government, also resulted in the seizure of materials used to manufacture the synthetic drug, such as chemical precursors, vehicles, magazines, and ammunition.
This seizure represents the largest confiscation of liquid methamphetamine during the current administration and the second-largest on record.
These actions prevent the mass production of synthetic drugs, deal a direct blow to the operational and financial capabilities of criminal groups, and strengthen the country’s security. García Harfuch’s directive is clear: continue dismantling laboratories, disrupt production chains, and prevent these substances from reaching the streets.
