Following a citizen report regarding criminal activity and a suspicious aircraft, FESC agents operated “in-the-field” aiming to locate alleged members of a criminal group from Sinaloa.
The hangar was operating in Ejido Estación Coahuila, where, at approximately 2:00 PM, they found an ultralight aircraft inside a hangar that lacked operation permits and the aircraft’s serial number had been altered, so it might es well has been used for illicit activities.

At nearly the same time, State Force officers located two vehicles: a late-model red pickup truck, reported stolen in the United States, and a white van that had been stolen minutes earlier and allegedly used by armed criminals to flee after noticing the law enforcement operation, A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene and he was turned over to the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
The vehicles were found in two separate locations: the pickup truck in the Oviedo Mota ejido area, and the van along the road to Ejido Estación Coahuila, a priority area within the Mexicali Valley.

The security operation took place throughout the day and into the night last Friday, allowing authorities to achieve several significant results, detailed below.
