A man who tried to set fire to the home of a relative was arrested by Mexicali Municipal Police agents, who were responding to a report filed at the C-5 Computer and Control Center regarding a suspect at 1352 Calzada Independencia and Acapulco Street, Colonia Esperanza, according to the Mexicali Public Security Department.
Upon arrival, the officers saw the suspicious individual wearing a black and gray plaid shirt, black pants, and black boots, and noticed an aggressive attitude form the man so they proceeded to intervene him.
A woman emerged from the house, she looked really scared and altered and started accusing the individual wearing the plaid shirt of intentionally setting fire to the house where she lives, causing extensive damage to a wooden room outside the house, but fortunately the rest of the house turned out without any damage whatsoever.
The woman told the cops that she was related to the “suspect” (it was clear he was he one but Mexican Criminal Law mandates to omit any assumptions and talk about alleged conducts until the suspect is found guilty in a Court of Law.
Mexicali PD released the name of the alleged, it is Adolfo «N,» who lived at the same address with her, therefore, officers requested a precautionary body search to the individual, which he willingly and voluntarily agreed to.
During the search, a silver revolver was found tucked into his waistband, so Adolfo was arrested and taken to the police station, where the corresponding legal procedures were carried out.
