During a widespread search operation led by State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) agents, in coordination with other authorities, alleged human remains were found in the desert areas near San Felipe, these sorts of searches are carried out in order to determine whatever happened to the disappeared, people who left home, school, office or other places and were never seen again.
The search began at 5:00 AM in the desert area south of Las Minas in San Felipe, supported by K9 units of the FGE, “Rooster” and “Coco”, Belgian Shepherd Malinois dogs, that are specialized in search and recover of corpses and human remains, they found what appeared to be long bones, leading to the closure of the quadrant.

A case number was assigned to the finding by the State Investigation Agency of the State Attorney General’s Office and personnel from the Forensic Services and San Felipe FGE agency were called to the scene.
Biological samples will be extracted from the remains for genetic profiling necessary for comparison and identification
The operation was led by agents of the Specialized Unit for Investigation and Prosecution of Forced Disappearance of Persons and Disappearance Committed by Individuals of the FGE the search also involved personnel from the Local Commission for Search of Missing Persons, the Public Security Directorate, the State Citizen Security Force, and Collective Madres Unidas y Fuertes, which is a social group where mothers and other relatives work to locate and find out their loved one’s final fate.
People disappearance is a very serious issue that Mexicali society faces, there have been many youngsters who “vanished” after visiting some bars and night clubs located in what residents have called the Bermuda Triangle, a “fun night clubs” complex, near Benito Juárez Memorial.
There have also been cases where men and women who left their jobs or school after a day at work or school, and never made it back to their house, so many relatives of the disappeared, deeming authorities work negligent in the investigations of these regretful cases, have undertaken the search, sometimes working with the Government and sometimes on their own,
