Taco Museum in Tijuana, an immersive experience into Mexico´s national meal

Taco Museum opened a few days ago in Tijuana, but . . . What is a is a taco? You may say it is a rolled tortilla, packing several sorts of food, chicken, pork, beef, goat, sheep, as well as rice, liver, head, brains, several sorts of sausage, with all kinds of sauces and onion or cilantro or even pineapple, taco is something that shows up all over Mexico in very different ways.

The Taco Museum in Tijuana is a glimpse to what the taco means in Mexico´s Northwestern border cities, which won´t be the same as in Northeastern or even less Central Mexico (Bajío), Mexico City and surroundings and then the South: Oaxaca, Tabasco, etc. and the other peninsula, tacos are offered in a wide array of varieties all over.

Marinan del Pilar Avila, Baja California governor, kicked off operations in the Taco Museum in Tijuana, which will be a nice place to visit, what the wants to promote as touristic attractions through the State Tourism Secretary, and hopefully it will turn out fine for their effort.
