A 20 year old American citizen, was detained in Tijuana, he had 25 kilos of heroin and two guns with cartridges ready to be used, the arrest and the guns seizure, were carried out by agents of the State Citizen Security Force (FESC) a State Police of sorts.
This arrest is part of the operational deployment implemented by the FESC in Tijuana, the arrested young man was identified as Alejandro “N” and he was over confident, speeding and not respecting Stop signs, so he caught the police´s attention, a very silly attitude.
The FESC reported that the agents saw a Chevrolet Malibu, brown, with Baja California license plates, driven at excessive speed, not respecting stop signs, so they decised to pull him over, on El Rosario Boulevard, in Pórticos de San Antonio, Tijuana, on the freeway Tijuana – Rosarito.
After they stopped him and searched the car, they found a .9 mm caliber handgun, with a magazine stocked with 16 live cartridges; a .223 mm caliber long weapon with 12 caliber cartridges; and 24 packages with heroin, giving an approximate weight of 24 kilos 860 grams.
The driver, Alejandro “N”, 20 years old and hailing from Santa Ana, California, was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), the authority that will rule on the legal situation of the detainee, most likely t be arraigned and tried soon, for drug traficking.
The Baja California Citizen Security Secretary (SSCBC) keeps working in order to improve the security that Baja Californians deserve; daily surveillance tours carried out by the FESC are yielding results.
