An aggressive woman from San Felipe beat up another female who works as a Mexican curious and handicrafts vendor, together with an accomplice, and also threatened another lady who tried to defend the victim, according a press release from State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
There was an arrest warrant issued against Cristal «N», accused of injuring and threatening the handicrafts vendor, who makes a living among tourists visiting San Felipe, the attack occurred, seemingly due to personal problems between the two women.
According to the complaint filed by the victim in the FGE, on April 19, CRISTAL «N» waited for the victim to leave a restaurant on Calzada Mar de Cortés to assault her, grabbing her by the hair to take the victim to her business premises, where she continued beating her, causing visible injuries. With the aid of another crazed, aggressive woman.
But there was even more, the victim said that, two days after the attack, on April 21, she was working on the boardwalk at a tourist camp, on Avenida Mar de Cortés, Zona Centro, when Cristal arrived with another woman, and began calling her names and threaten her.
Both women took off the vendor´s baseball cap she was wearing, then pulled her by the hair and threw her into the sand, then they kicked and beat her all over the body, shove sand in her mouth and took pictures of her in order to further humiliate her.
A person who tried to defend the victim was also threatened by CRISTAL «N» and her partner, who threatened to attack him so he wouldn’t put a fight to help the defenseless woman. Finally, the attackers fled from the scene.
After completing the arrest warrant and reading her constitutional rights, Cristal was made available to the judge who will carry out the criminal proceedings against her.
