After the critical stage of the COVID-19 pandemic mainly affected economic activity, the municipal president of Los Cabos, Armida Castro Guzmán, continues to promote the municipality with a photographic exhibition through the «Touristic Route through Mexico», with the primary objective of promoting national and international tourist destinations in the country.
In addition to Los Cabos, Mazatlán, Acapulco, Zacatecas and Solidaridad, other destinations are added to the project emanating from the vision of Mayor Armida Castro, to once again publicize the attractions of the destinations, promote them and that visitors have the security that in the Tourist Route, health protocols and new measures are implemented to boost the source of employment and work generated by tourism.
“We signed the first twinning with the municipality of Zacatecas and the first photographic exhibition was established in the Plaza de Armas, -located in the historic center of said municipality-, to invite European tourism to discover the wonders that Los Cabos can offer; however, for the project it is important to create a gear that stimulates the interest of visiting Acapulco or Solidaridad, -to mention some municipalities-, and knowing their history, their origin and how handicrafts are worked ”, explained the mayor, who hopes that the «Touristic Route through provides benefits to reactivate activity in Los Cabos.
In this sense, the mayor added that among the pending visits to be made are: Playa del Carmen and Cancun; however, there are several requests that will have to be evaluated, because it is necessary to guarantee the necessary protocols in the new normal: “to be part of the route we need them to be safe municipalities, to offer tourism destinations that they can reach and return to. their place of origin healthy”, concluded the municipal president, Armida Castro Guzmán.
Finally, it is highlighted that with the support of the Association of Local Authorities of Mexico (AALMAC), Teotihuacán, is about to become part of the tourist route, derived from its unique attraction and the complete history of the origin of Mexico, and the «Touristic Route through Mexico» is a great way to promote Los Cabos.
