MEXICALI RESISTE attacks and hurts Channel 66 reporter

Jan 16, 2018

ALFREDO AZCARATE VARELA THE BAJA POST/EDITOR Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries for journalists, it was shown when social activists from Mexicali Resiste showed that not only authorities are repressors against journalist but they are too, and assuming that they fight for the people’s rights, they have resorted to violence to protest against Constellation Brands in a violent fashion, and they hit and attacked treacherously a security guard among other things and now they have attacked Roberto Lopez of Mexicali, Channel 66 reporter. They have been camping at Constellation Brands brewing plant construction site and Mexicali Resiste militants hit Roberto Lopez with a stone that cut his head and cause bleeding, no one claimed responsibility because they are “fighting for the people’s rights” and they claim to be defending “the water that they want to steal from us”. Mexicali Resiste has all the right to demonstrate but doesn’t have the right to disqualify as traitors to all those who don’t concur with them and to call “sold out reporters” all those that don’t speak for them and to justify in an unilateral way all the violence with which they act. They also have maintained camping sites outside the Government buildings in Mexicali and have turned violent and have an absolutist mind set, things that only go to show how they would behave if they had the power and they have also showed that journalists not only have to fear the powers that be but also this type of social movements who judge and say what’s wrong and what’s...

Footage of ‘humanoid UFO’ over Mexico goes viral, sparks skepticism

Jan 15, 2018

A bizarre video of a “humanoid UFO” over Mexico has gone viral, sparking plenty of skepticism. The humanoid-shaped object was filmed hovering above the city of Mexicali in the state of Baja California in Mexico. Self-described UFO expert Pedro Ramirez noted that it was “first sighting of 2018” and said it may be the result of mankind’s space activity in recent years. “Aliens are aware that we have made a number of space launches recently and have identified that we have been sending up ‘war material’,” he claimed to the CEN news agency, according to comments obtained by The Mirror.   Ramirez said that aliens may be concerned by mankind’s activity and “they have been increasingly monitoring our planet. This year will be very important for those of us who follow this phenomenon closely.” While some believe the object is not of this world, others believe it has a more plausible explanation or is a fake. Commentator Andrew LaSane said on Outerplaces.com that while it does look like it is a flying person, there hasn’t been any corroborating evidence of it, making him skeptical. According to The Express, Ufoofinterest.org’s Scott Brando said the image is likely that of a helium balloon designed to look like a Star Wars stormtrooper, even going so far as to tweet an image of the balloon. “The video of so-called ‘vertical UFO’ or ‘humanoid-shaped object’ taken in #Mexico has gone viral,” Brando wrote. “There’s a possible explanation like this ‘stormtrooper balloon’.”...
