Relevant legislative initiatives are stagnant in the House of Representatives because of the majority voting of the Revolution Institutional Party (PRI), the New Alliance Party (PANAL) and the Green Ecologist Mexican Party Alliance (PVEM) are braking the development of Mexico of Mexico and of the northern border with the United States that’s what National Action Party (PAN) of Baja California Representative, Luz Argelia Paniagua considers and she also said that these three parties are placing their own interests above the people’s necessities.
“This is voted by majority and regrettably in our legislative fraction (PAN) there are only 109 lawmakers so we haven’t been able to work on important subjects for Mexico and Baja California, such as the Reform to the Electoral Law, economic subjects of the border with the USA and there is currently a Lobby for the initiative of free zones a majority and to approve it within the house of Representatives in Mexico City
Many federal Representatives follow instructions and ignore interests and development of Mexicans and this not the moment to show which party or alliances are more powerful but to legislate in favor of Mexicans, Paniagua regretted that before the 2018 electoral process the same group interest prevails and there is still not and an Attorney against Corruption, “it’s ready but we don’t want and anti-corruption attorney who would not be partial and objective”.
On the other hand she assured that the action National Action Party as well as organizations of Civil Society all over the country are against the Security Inland Law because they consider it illegal and that it violates human rights and laws.
“First the Mixed Command Law should be approved in order to give certainty to the state and city police all over the country and this means that we can’t take step two without having taken the first step, the military has a very specific task which should operate in the moment it is required but its real job is not to be in the streets”, she finally said.
