Expo “Mexicali” to take place in Yuma on Saturday November 25

Due to the good relationship between residents of Mexicali, Baja California and Yuma, Arizona, an expo that seeks to promote the best of Mexicali will be held on November 25 on the American side of the border.

The director of the Committee of Tourism and Conventions (Cotuco), Omar Dipp Núñez, informed that for the first time there will be an exhibition of the different attractions that Mexicali has to offer to the “Snowbirds”, visitors from Canada and other areas that seek to spend the winter in a warmer area, such as Yuma and Mexicali.

He noted that Yuma has 100 thousand inhabitants, a figure that is doubled during this time of the year by these tourists, so in this event that will take place at the Casino Quechan on Saturday November 25, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, doctors, dentists and hospitals will be participating, along with local producers, and Mexican travel agencies and tour operators in order to advertise their services.

At the same time, an artistic program will be held, headed by the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture, as well as presentations of charrería, folkloric dances, and regional music among other activities.
