TIJUANA.– The governor of Baja California, Francisco “Kiko” Vega de Lamadrid, said that no more situations like the one that took place at the local Congress will be allowed, no more chaos and commotion will be tolerated by the authorities.

“For no reason will we tolerate that the Mexicali Resiste or any other group throw excrement and urine to the congress representatives, this absolutely unacceptable,” said the governor.

He stated that the population should understand that there are conflicting opinions, “not all of us are going to coincide, but there are “decent” ways to make demands to the authorities, with respect from the citizens.”

The governor announced that the president of the local Congress has already filed a criminal complaint against those responsible for the agressions, “we will follow a process attached to the law and the rights we also have as citizens.”

It should be noted that a few days ago in the State Congress a group of citizens confronted Mexicali Resiste protesters, asking them to withdraw from the area.
