The models were detained on June 2, by immigration officers while they were partying at an exclusive event in Cancun leading the legendary magazine to accuse authorities of an “abuse” of power.

The young models reportedly said they were “mingling” when they were pounced on by officers.

The cops are also said to have arrested other “foreign” women at the party who were “special guests” from Paraguay and Peru.

However, Playboy workers Lauryn Elaine from the US, Marie Brethenoux from France and Elif Celik from Turkey, are the only three to have been named and were detained because they were allegedly working while only on a tourist visa.

Playboy Mexico has since described the operation as an “abuse of authority” following the “misunderstanding”.
