On May 26, two armed individuals stole more than a quarter of a million pesos, they entered the Hotel Real Inn in the Civic Center of Mexicali, after threatening the employees of the entertaining company that were selling tickets for “El Buki’s” concert.

According to the Ministerial Police the subjects stole 267 thousand pesos in cash that they stored in the bag of a woman who was also in that place.

Witnesses confirm that they were two “well dressed” men of robust build and another one who looked more “skinny”, the three of them were carrying guns, went through the main entrance door, perpetrated the robbery and then managed to escape in a car and nobody stopped them probably because they “were armed.”

Local authorities asked the hotel for the surveillance videos in order to come up with a more accurate description of the assailants.
